French immersion program

My French immersion programme offers a comprehensive and personalised approach to learning French. Your stay includes accommodation in a private apartment, ensuring both comfort and privacy. This immersive environment allows you to practise French continuously in a supportive and authentic setting.

The standard all-inclusive homestay program includes:

• a personalized level test carried out by Georgiana
• A minimum of 35 hours of French practice including :

• 10 hours per week of French lessons with Georgiana for each student, personalised to meet your learning goals and needs. Lessons may be individual or shared with one other learner of a closely matched French level. Each student attends the full 10 hours; the hours are not divided between learners.
• Every day, lunch and dinner homemade meals are the subject of active conversation, with Georgiana during lunch, and with the whole family during dinner.
• 3 activities with guided French conversation with Georgiana.
  Practise your French in authentic, real-life situations through a variety of carefully selected cultural and leisure activities. These may include museum visits, tours of historical monuments, culinary workshops, local market visits, neighbourhood walks, and guided scenic walks in the beautiful Vallée de Chevreuse, offering the perfect balance between language learning, cultural discovery, and relaxation.
• As part of the programme, one of the three activities may be a guided visit to a Parisian museum, chosen by the student from a selection of approximately ten renowned museums according to their interests (history, art, literature, fashion, science, or Parisian heritage). Throughout the visit, Georgiana provides personalised French-language guidance and conversation practice, helping students enrich their vocabulary while discovering some of the finest cultural treasures of Paris.

Each activity is designed to encourage natural communication, improve listening and speaking skills, and provide meaningful cultural immersion beyond the classroom.

• Full board, with breakfast enjoyed independently in your private apartment and homemade lunches and dinners shared with Georgiana and her family at their home. Meals feature organic, local and seasonal ingredients.
• Your own fully equipped private apartment, either adjoining Georgiana’s family home (approximately 32 m² / 350 sq ft, with access to the garden) or at the nearby Face au Lac residence, a five-minute walk away. Accommodation is allocated according to availability and the organisation of your stay. Both options are included in your immersion package, and Georgiana personally arranges the accommodation, including the Face au Lac reservation when applicable.

This typical program can be customized to suit your preferences, for example:

• The number of French lesson hours can be adjusted upwards or downwards to suit your learning goals. Depending on your booking, lessons may be individual or shared with one other learner whose French level has been assessed beforehand and closely matched to yours.
• Couples, friends or family members travelling and booking together may be accommodated as a group of up to three people, with a reduced rate per person. This is a separate arrangement from the standard offer for a maximum of two independently booked immersion students.
