Why a French immersion ?

Learn French in France

Beginners with no prior French experience will be guided to start speaking with simple phrases. Soon, you’ll see fast progress and interact with locals! Unlike in a classroom, where practice is limited, with me and my family, you’ll be fully immersed, speaking French all day. If by the end of the day you can’t speak French anymore because you’re too tired, you can switch to English, which I understand perfectly.French immersion

A small and personal learning experience

You may be my only student or share your immersion with one other independently booked learner. I assess both students’ French levels beforehand to ensure a closely matched level. Learning together offers extra opportunities for conversation, encouragement and cultural exchange, while each student enjoys their own private accommodation. Guaranteed exclusive immersion is available, subject to availability, for an additional €1,000 per week. No other immersion student will join your lessons, family meals or guided activities.

Experience authentic French: speak naturally with a native teacher and her family.

Before you know it, you’ll be effortlessly using quintessential French phrases. Achieving this level of fluency is only possible through immersive experiences with native speakers.

Soon, you’ll notice you’re thinking in French, no longer struggling with constant translation. Daily practice with me will steadily boost your fluency and expand your vocabulary. If errors persist, I will correct you until they disappear for good.

Relax in your own private apartment surrounded by nature in Chevreuse Valley

You will enjoy your own fully equipped private apartment in Saint-Rémy-lès-Chevreuse, either adjoining my family home with access to our garden or at the nearby Face au Lac residence, a five-minute walk away. Both options are included in your immersion package, and I arrange your accommodation personally according to availability and the organisation of your stay. Your French lessons, lunches and dinners take place at my family home, with guided activities at home or on outings. Breakfast is enjoyed independently in your apartment.
